Song Video of Finken och Grenan and Himlar's Rymd

During the 1924 Concert at Hoquiam's Masonic Hall, the Runeberg Choirs in combined concert sang many favorite selections.  In 1925 the concert included Himlar's Rymd, the second selection on this two-song video.  The choir in the early 1960s recorded a demo record that included these video songs, Finken och Grenan, and Himlar's Rymd.  The lyrics to Himlar's Rymd are a Johan Ludwig Runeberg Swedish translation of a Psalm.  Also on the video is the voice of the 1960s choir director.   Labor Day Weekend will be the 95th Anniversary of this first united songfest of the Choirs of the Order of Runeberg.
