These are the Ransome Books I have. My father had a bookstore send to Canada for some of these many years ago, in the 1950s. Secret Water was discarded by the Tacoma Public Library. I have read others from the library. The other shelves of books look so rich and thick. Have enjoyed the Facebook Arthur Ransome Group.
_We Didn't Mean to Go to Sea_ was my first Ransome book, which I read as a child in New Zealand. My parents had moved us there when I was eight, and I was much at sea myself in the new culture. It's a pleasure to see your collection and to remember these stories. I remember, too, coming to the end of the local library's holdings and deliberately putting aside one of the books, delaying the time when there wouldn't be anymore first reads
Linnea Gord's Entries describe 1930 Concerts in Finland by the Order of Runeberg Choir at Nov 19 and Dec 4, 2012, and at Jan 2, 2013 - Visit At Malax in July starts at Nov 6, 2014
