While I took a snapshot of a big piece of a horse chestnut tree that broke off, a heron flew above and toward the pond, did not land. At the pond, on the other side was the heron at the top of an evergreen. The heron's neck formed several shapes as it noticed someone in a chartreuse jacket with a camera and chose to lift off the evergreen and go another way.
There was also a red-winged blackbird at the pond, at the top of a small cedar tree. Sun today.
